About Natalie – The Woman Behind the Work
Passionate. Perceptive. Perfectly Misunderstood.
Paving a new legacy for those who have been told they feel too deeply.

I’m Natalie, a trauma‑informed coach, creative, and spiritual guide. My work is rooted in lived experience, deep emotional understanding, and the belief that every woman/person deserves to feel safe within themself.
My story didn’t begin in calm or stability. I grew up in a home marked by emotional volatility, untreated mental health struggles, and cultural stigma that made seeking help feel dangerous. My mother, who carried her own unspoken wounds, lived in a time and community where mental health was shamed, hidden, and misunderstood.
She did the best she could with what she had, but the weight of her unaddressed pain shaped our home in ways that left deep marks on me.
By the age of eleven, I had already been kicked out the house, one of many occasions, not because I was “bad,” but because the adults around me were overwhelmed, unsupported, and unable to meet their own emotional needs, let alone mine. I learned early that love could be unpredictable, that safety could disappear without warning, and that my emotions were “too much” for the people around me.
At thirteen, I moved across the country to live with my father, hoping for stability. Instead, I found myself in another environment where neglect, harsh criticism, various forms of abuse and emotional instability shaped my sense of self.
I worked to support myself as a teenager, often unsure of when it was safe to eat, speak, or simply exist. By fifteen, I was navigating a world where survival meant shrinking, staying silent, and learning to read danger in the smallest shifts of tone or expression.
By the time I returned to Montreal at seventeen, I was carrying the weight of years of abuse, instability, abandonment, and emotional harm. I didn’t have the language for it then, but I was already living with the early symptoms of General Anxiety Disorder, Depression and Borderline Personality Disorder. Later on in life mental health practitioners would add C-PTSD and possible Somative Disorder. These conditions were not shaped by weakness, but by survival.
For years, I was treated as the problem.
No one asked what had happened to me, only what was wrong with me.
It wasn’t until adulthood, through therapy, trauma education, and healing conversations with my mother before she passed, that I finally understood the truth:
I wasn’t “too much.”
I was a child trying to survive environments that were far more complex than I had the capacity to understand at the time.
And that realization changed everything.
I committed to healing slowly, intentionally, and with a devotion that rebuilt me from the inside out. I learned emotional regulation, nervous system grounding, and the sacred art of reconnecting with myself. I learned how to trust again. Beginning first with myself. How to love again, self-love and how to rise again.
Today, I guide women who feel everything deeply through that same journey — not as a therapist, but as someone who has lived the reality of emotional overwhelm, abandonment, and deep inner chaos… and who has found her way back to wholeness.
My coaching is grounded in compassion, sovereignty, and the belief that emotional intensity is not a flaw. It’s a language. A gift. A sacred part of who you are. It is the inner drive that keeps you going, keeps you trying, keeps you hoping that there is a better way and there is.
NADANY RECLAIM™ and The SACRED Principles™ were born from my own healing. It is a structured, trauma-informed pathway that helps women stabilize, reconnect, and rise in strength. It is the framework I wish I had when I was younger. It is the framework that changed my life. And it is the framework I now use to help others reclaim theirs.
If you have ever been told you feel too deeply, think too much, or care too fiercely, I want you to know this:
You are not broken.
You are not alone.
And you are not beyond healing.
If I could rise through everything I lived ; you can rise too. And I would be honored to walk with you as you do.

The Natalie Empowered Story
Natalie Empowered is more than a coaching brand, it is a sanctuary for those who have been told their feelings are too much, their questions too challenging, their passion too intense.
Founded by Natalie Olivia Paul, the brand was born from a lifetime of navigating emotional depth in a world that did not yet have the language to honor it. Natalie’s lived experience, shaped by instability, cultural stigma, and the long silence surrounding mental health that became the foundation for her life’s work.

The SACRED Principles™ are the culmination of that healing; a structured, trauma-informed framework that blends nervous system science, DBT skills, EFT tapping, and spiritual grounding into a methodology that meets people where they are and walks with them toward who they are becoming.
It is not therapy. It is not advice. It is a guided return to self.
Because your emotions are not a flaw. They are a compass. A language. A sacred part of who you are. And you deserve to rise with them, not in spite of them.
Rise in Strength. Shine with Purpose.™
